Congratulations to our 2025–2026 Teacher Grant Recipients!

 

Ms. Hitt – 2nd Grade
Headphone Storage – Provides an organized and accessible way to store classroom headphones, helping students maintain responsibility for materials and keeping learning spaces neat and efficient.

 

Ms. Stephens – Special Education
Balance Boards – Balance boards will be used in Special Education classrooms to support students’ physical movement, balance, and vestibular development. Research shows that strengthening these areas enhances brain activity connected to reading and learning, helping students better engage in academic instruction.

 

Ms. Waring – 2nd Grade
Classroom Area Rug – A large carpet area will serve as a comfortable, organized space for morning meetings, discussions, small groups, and mini-lessons. This dedicated space promotes focus, encourages participation, and helps build a strong sense of classroom community.

 

Ms. Ledesma – 1st Grade
Classroom Learning Materials – Headphones for instructional websites and state testing, dry erase boards for daily phonics and math practice, label paper for student journals and homework folders, and mesh bags for reading bags and station games. These materials support independent learning, organization, and daily classroom engagement.

 

Ms. Price – Specialist
Math Manipulatives and Teaching Aids – These tools will be used in small group instruction for grades 3–5 to help make abstract math concepts more concrete and accessible for students.

 

Mr. Madruga – PE
EZ Scan Running Program – Allows students to track their running progress throughout the year, encouraging goal setting, motivation, and celebration of personal fitness achievements.

 

Ms. Hall – 2nd Grade
Targeted Literacy Resources – Instructional materials and manipulatives will support differentiated small group instruction, strengthen phonemic awareness through hands-on activities, and provide tools to scaffold early writing development, directly supporting student literacy growth.

 

Ms. Hardin – Kindergarten
Fine Motor Development Materials – New fine motor tub activities and pencil grip tools will help students develop proper hand strength and pencil grip. These reusable materials will benefit students year after year while supporting fluent and confident writing skills.

 

Ms. Merchant – PreK
Classroom Rug – A standard classroom rug will provide students with defined seating spaces during daily carpet lessons. Each student will have an assigned letter spot, improving focus, classroom management, and personal space while supporting developmentally appropriate learning.

 

Ms. Frey – Music
Children’s Music Invitational Registration – Grant support will help Choir and PULSE perform at the Children’s Music Invitational, allowing students to showcase their hard work, receive professional feedback, and represent Kreinhop with pride as our Kreinhop Krescendos.

 

Campus Recess Equipment

Recess Equipment – Kickballs, volleyballs, jump ropes, and catch-and-throw sets were purchased to support active and engaging recess experiences. These items encourage teamwork, physical activity, and positive social interaction for students.
