Fundraising

The PTO helps our school purchase technology, programs and materials that are not in their budget. This year we are raising money for additional classroom technology, in-classroom instructional material, and a variety of other items that would be greatly beneficial to our students success! Last Year we gave $20,000 to Kreinhop for some much needed playground enhancements for our Pre K through 2nd grade playground, thank you all so much! 

Previous years recap:

• Each year we have been able to donate over $20,000 back to Kreinhop Elementary!! These funds have been used for technology purchases (over 47 chromebooks!) and instructional materials for our student's classrooms.
• Sponsored the 5th Grade Celebration
• Sponsored the Winter Wonderland celebration for our students including bounce house, coco bar, candy bar and photo booth
• Purchased the agenda books for 3rd through 5th graders
• Hosted a quarterly Kreinhop staff luncheon with financial and food donations from parents
• Hosted a community wide Spring Carnival
• Hosted our first ever Color Run 
• Dad and Donuts
• Moms and Muffins
• Volunteer Events 
• Provide $3,000 in Teacher/Staff Grants for classroom materials, instructional programs, PE Equipment, etc. Check out our teacher grant page to see all of the wonderful grants we have provided teachers and students! 
• Purchased the new sound system in the cafeteria 
• Donated $20,000 to Kreinhop to purchase Playground Equipment that will be installed Fall of 2023

How it's done...

Teachers, families and local businesses work together to accomplish these goals by:

• Eating out on Spirit Nights (Restaurant nights)
• Donating online
• Saving and bringing in Box Tops for Education
• Attending and supporting our fundraisers such as fall sale, color run, carnival, etc. 
• Shopping at certain local and national retailers (see information below)

Be sure to click on the Box Top symbol on the left for more information on Box Tops. This year Box Tops is making it even easier to earn money for Kreinhop by providing an app that you can scan your box tops or receipts! Click on the link to the left for more information! 

Kroger 

Be sure to click on the Kroger symbol to link your Kroger card to Kreinhop Elementary PTO! If  you don’t have a Kroger card, pick one up for free at any Kroger store. Create your account online, link the card to your account, and then enter JI329 or Kreinhop Elementary PTO as your community rewards recipient. Just use your card every time you shop at Kroger and verify that Kreinhop Elementary PTO is shown on the bottom of your receipt. Note: Each family must renew their Kroger rewards annually​!

Amazon​ ​Smiles

You shop, Amazon gives. Kreinhop Elementary PTO is enrolled in the Amazon Smile program. This is a simple way for you to support Kreinhop every time you shop...at no cost to you. Amazon will donate a portion of the eligible purchases to Kreinhop PTO. To set this up click on the link to the left (amazon smile button), login, and search Kreinhop as the nonprofit organization you'd like to support.  It will come up as Klein Support Groups, click on this and read the instructions and start shopping!

Exxon​ ​Program Volunteer Involvement Program

If you or your spouse works for ExxonMobil your volunteer hours are worth $500 per 20 hours worked up to $2000 granted in a calendar year! 

Please complete the form needed at http://www.easymatch.com/exxonmobil and a check will be sent directly to the school. Upon completion of the form please email Melissa Diggins. 

Melissa Diggins is your PTO Volunteer Coordinator Contact, the form will ask for her phone number to verify your volunteer hours, please email her for her phone number so she can verify your hours with Exxon.

The Volunteer Involvement Program (VIP) was designed by ExxonMobil Foundation and Corporate Public Affairs to encourage employees, retirees and other eligible participants to actively contribute their time and talent to non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations. In return, ExxonMobil provides financial contributions to these organizations based on the number of hours volunteered. For Day of Caring, VIP grants provide an opportunity for each Campaign to earn dollars that will go directly to the agency at which you volunteer. Grant dollars will be allocated back to Campaigns for credit and tracking purposes. VIP Grant Overview VIP grants are available for individual volunteer activities and for team volunteer events such as DOC, with separate application procedures.
